Another big surprise was a flight up the Hudson River at 2,000 feet right into the heart of New York City. The two dipped a wing to salute Lady Liberty herself. Although their Cessna 172 could have flown under the Brooklyn Bridge, neither pilot was that crazy, despite what was said about them in the weeks leading up to the adventure.
A champagne breakfast and a celebration with friends greeted them on their return to Punta Gorda, Florida. Ultimately, the two had just this to say -- they'll do it again!
